A pale linen curtain in backlight with words written on it in water, in uneven lines across the cloth; the words THIS WILL BE GONE can be read, and the hem casts a wavy shadow.

Writing on Curtains with Water, Writing on Windows with Liquid-Chalk

and their Traces

Two windows with sheer curtains, lit from behind in a dim room; on the left curtain the words IT WILL BE GONE in pale letters, on the right curtain several lines of writing.

A person seen from behind in a brown leather armchair, a red patterned bag over the shoulder, looking at the two curtained windows with writing lit from behind; at the right edge the arm and knee of a second person.

  • A tall sheer curtain in sunlight with faint grey traces of writing, its hem casting a wavy shadow.
  • A window pane with letters in liquid chalk, only partly legible, looking down onto a street with a car park and trucks far below; a creased curtain hangs at the right.
