2. Hosting

This website consists of static files that a web server (nginx) delivers to your browser. The server is operated for me by Benjamin Blume. It is located in Germany, in the data centre of dogado GmbH, Antonio-Segni-Straße 11, 44263 Dortmund, which provides the infrastructure. The log files described in the next section are created on this server and are managed by the operator.

3. Server log files

On every request to this website the server stores: the IP address in shortened form (for IPv4 the last block is set to 0; for IPv6 only the first 32 bits are kept), date and time, the request line (method, path, protocol), the status code, the amount of data transferred, the referrer and the browser identification (user agent).

The purpose is the operation and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and trouble-free operation of the site and the defence against attacks. The log files are rotated automatically and deleted after 14 days. They are not evaluated for any other purpose.

In rare cases, for example after a server error, the error log can contain the full IP address. It is deleted after the same 14 days.

In addition, the server writes further logs outside the settings of this website, for example for requests that cannot be assigned to any website. These can contain full IP addresses and are deleted after about 15 days.

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and runs no scripts. Fonts and other content are not loaded from third parties; opening a page triggers no requests to other providers.

Videos and audio recordings on this website are delivered by the same server that delivers the pages, under the address path /media/. Your browser loads a video or a recording only after you press play, and then in parts. These requests are written to the same shortened server log as requests for pages (section 3) and are deleted on the same schedule. No video platform and no player of another provider is involved.

5. Name resolution (DNS)

The name servers of the domain dongheenam.net are operated by Wix.com Ltd., 5 Yunitsman St., Tel Aviv, Israel. When your device looks up the address of dongheenam.net, that request is usually made by the DNS resolver of your internet provider and answered by these name servers. I have no influence on this processing; see Wix's privacy policy for details (wix.com/about/privacy).

6. Instagram

The start page and the contact page contain a plain link to Instagram; nothing is embedded. Nothing is sent to Instagram before you click. After you click, the operator of Instagram processes data under its own privacy policy.

7. Contact by email or phone

If you email me or call me, I process your details only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry aims at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your details are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed and no statutory retention duty applies.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access to the data stored about you (Art. 15)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• erasure (Art. 17)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• data portability (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)

Please contact me informally at the address above. Independently of that, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Wilhelmstraße 7, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany, datenschutz.hessen.de.
