Noisy Silence

In pale blue light a person stands as a silhouette holding a megaphone to their face in front of a wall of hung aluminium pieces; an office chair on each side, between them a table with a ring of aluminium duct, projected letters partly legible on the wall.

An old megaphone, rescued from the cellar. A finger on the microphone connection produces the frequency; the movement of the megaphone, the vibrato. No voice.

On the floor in chalk: different kinds of silence, erased by the visitors' footsteps. On the wall: projected sentences.

Group exhibition "AN UND AB WESENHEIT" (Presence and Absence), AtelierFrankfurt.

In the same room, independent works from the Nudelsuppentüte series: Trost (2020, static diary installation) and Trust (2022, kinetic installation). Visible in the background of the video — three works, spatially connected, conceptually distinct.
